Overview
Soaring Higher is a sculpture created for branding and marketing purposes of ECM – company that specializes in electro-chemical processing of acid-resistant steel.
The most characteristic visual aspect of the sculpture is how it is oriented to the sun and how the Sun’s rays get reflected and concentrated on the wall behind the sculpture. These effects change dynamically throughout the day and always give a very strong, “jet-engine”-like vibe.
Goals
The sculpture's purpose was not only to present universally understandable values, such as high aspirations and development, but also to do it using the materials processed by the client.
Process
In order to present the cababilities of ECM, we made each bird-like module finished in a different way. I then mounted them to the wall of the ECM HQ in a way that corresponds with the natural sunlight .
