Overview
“Regenerato,” a public sculpture that stands as a powerful commemoration of the Marshall Fires and the resilience of the community it affected. Its charred plywood base serving as a reminder of the destruction that ravaged over 1000 homes in Superior and the surrounding neighborhoods. However, amidst the devastation, a yellow orchid gracefully adorns the sculpture, symbolizing the concept of growth and beauty emerging from the ashes. The choice of plywood, as most of the homes were constructed from wood, adds depth and authenticity to the artwork. Regenerato embodies the spirit of hope and positivity, showcasing the strength and resilience of the community as it rises from the spare and destruction.
