Goals

This installation titled "15th, 17th and Pennsylvania" is a life-size replica of the East and West gates of the White House in Washington, D.C., painted with a metallic paint from home depot, suggests the decadence and ruin of an institution in crisis and hung it drooping from the ceiling like a frilly curtain. The idea for the gold came from thinking about gold as representing power and decadence.
