Goals
The goal for the New Leaf project was was designed a public art work that would celebrate the rebirth of the St. Bernard Neighborhood in New Orleans. The integration of the location and the artwork was a challenge because of the elevation report. Piles were needed to create the foundation and pedestal for the project.
Process
St. Bernard community members voted online from different artists designs and my design was chosen. I worked with Columbia Residential's project manager primarily throughout the project.
