Client: Town of Buena Vista

Overview

Steel public art sculpture commissioned by the Town of Buena Vista, CO in a rust patina approximately 10′ diameter. We created a sculpture that represented the logo as well as integrated an open concept to align the sculpture with the surrounding beauty of the mountains and town.

Goals

The goal was to create a piece loosely representing Buena Vista's new logo which was of high importance to the art council in order to aid in the town's rebranding project.

Process

We were asked to prepare concept drawings for town approval, supply materials, fabricate as well as prepare the site and install the sculpture. This required close interaction with the town municipalities and Six Line Metalworks throughout the entire process.
