Role-Design, Fabrication & Installation-Permanent
A geometric representation of the millisecond when player, club and ball connect. This coordination of position, alignment, movement and energy converge to result in profound gratification or utter disappointment.
Goals
The new clubhouse had a mid-century modern aesthetic.
The stakeholders wanted golf represented.
I saw a more abstract representation of a golfer also with a mid-century modern aesthetic.
Process
Most of this was done via Zoom and a local consultant to be my eyes for the site.
After many meetings, reviewing architectural plans and some iterations, a design emerged.
Pleased with the result, the final presentation with Maquette in hand, via zoom, I was awarde the project.
