Overview

The Women’s Breast Center was a replacement center that integrated work from the old building that was important to the staff and history of the facility with new work that blended well with the modern aesthetic and color scheme.

Goals

It was important to integrate art with the beautiful curved walls of this facility and to place art that fit the colors.  8 custom pieces were commissioned, 4 of them were printed on aluminum and mounted on the curved walls. The other commissioned pieces were scaled to suit waiting room walls proportionally.

Process

I worked closely with the art consultant to choose colors, designs, placement and sizing to suit this specific environment.
