Triple powder coated aluminium with tempered digital printed glass
The Sculpture was designed as a simple seed form representing a new beginning. Inscribed in the glass centrepiece are the words “You are this universe and this universe is you” Excerpt from “Remember” a poem by US Poet Laurette Joy Harjo, the poem was the inspiration for the design.
Goals
The Mid Century Modern building has been refurbished to draw in new visitors and required a landmark installation to identify the location, the sculpture can be seen clearly from the highway outside and from visitors inside. The sculpture has been designed to harmonise with the architecture and landscape.
Additional Information
The artwork benefits from a programable DMX lighting system that cycles through several lighting themes, it can be reprogrammed throughout the year to coordinate with special events.
