Overview
Rooftop Fantasy is an immersive environment that includes 6 major structures, a large play structure for older children, a smaller play structure for toddlers, a scribble wall, bike rack cubbies and storage shed and a magnet wall.
Goals
The goals of the project were to create a sculptural play space that would engage the kids in a variety of interactive experiences. Our goal is to immerse the kids in the artwork and enable them to experience something beyond what is found in a typical playground.
Process
We worked with the educators at the ECC school and developed the project together. We began with discussions and thumb nail sketches, which then evolved to finished drawings and models.
Additional Information
We understand and build to playground codes.
