Client: Symphony of the Seas - Royal Caribbean International

Overview

Series of six custom designed art glass sculptural works inspired by the galaxy and galactic formations to be featured in showcases on specified decks of a ship. Individual sculptures are exhibited in niches measuring approximately 32″W x 54″H x 10″D.

Goals

My sculptural work was created to provide the most visual impact in the limited depth of space. By combining faceted and mirrored surfaces with swirling pattens, I was able to achieve a "wow" effect.

Process

Design sketches were submitted for approval to the art director before proceeding with production. I was given artistic leeway on this project.
