Client: B2 Architecture and Design

Overview

Ribbons are suspended from the ceiling and mounted on the wall to create the flow of water and color. Mail Room: 30ft x 3ft; Club House 20ft x 10ft; Ribbon Chandelier in the Lobby 3ft x 1.5ft; Blown Bowl 20″ round All hand blown glass.

Goals

B2 Architecture and Design approached us first for the clubhouse. They wanted something that simulated water, brought in colors, and make the place come alive. We ended up doing 3 areas.

Process

The collaboration of this process started with drawings of the space and sketches of what the ribbons would look like. We create glass colors based off fabric and accent colors. When possible we mock up the whole piece at our studio for approval and then install the piece as approved onto the client's wall.
