Overview
This suspended installation hangs in the main lobby of the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh’s new Museum Lab building in a renovated Carnegie Library.
Goals
It represents the historic leaded glass that was once in the space as a multi-layered drawing of printed and perforated layers with imbedded lighting. The ornate detail of the concave historic ceiling is rendered as a convex object and Trompe l’oeil illusion floating overhead.
