Overview

MOLALLA MEANDER shows the alluvial flows over 15 years of a section of the Molalla River in the Cascade Range of Clackamas County in NW Oregon. Collaborating with researchers at the USGS Oregon Water Science Center, LIDAR maps of the river taken approximately every 5 years were used to create a physical 3D representation of the river as it's path changed over time, from 1995 to 2009.
