Overview
METAL, L.E.D. RGB Fiber Optic Light Illuminated Painting, 30″x68″. The art is plugged into a standard 220V, 3-prong wall socket. A remote control governs the lighting brightness, timing for the 7-color fade sequence, single color pause and ON/OFF power.
Process
The L.E.D. Fiber Optic Panel was custom built by Evolite, in Denver, Colorado. A Taos, New Mexico woodworker created a wooden frame to permanently hold the Fiber Optic Panel and then stretched canvas over the wooden frame. I created the painting in my studio with an assistant. An electrician installed the art in the clients residence.
