Overview
Puzzle Woods, mixed media (encaustic-melted beeswax, oil, photography, steel), 60″x90″. Thematically signed with corporate identity in the flight industry which sells airplanes.
Goals
The goal was to place a unique art piece on the available entry wall space that worked within the high end 57th St. Manhattan location, contemporary design (laminated white cabinets, concrete floors, open loft ceilings and glass wall dividers), corporate identity (Merx Aviation) and entry space.
Process
The art work presented was chosen for theme, size and materials. The designer approved the suggested work and an installer was hired to hang the 9 separate panels with steel rods.
