Overview
This residential project was designed as a custom commission for a private home in Nebraska. The style of the atrium space was perfect for a pop of color so the work really made a visual impact. The canopy mimics the architecture of the space and the LED lighting brings warmth day and night.
Goals
Our intent with this project was to give a focal point to the staircase. Additionally, we wanted the work to be highly visible inside and out.
Process
All glass and lighting fixtures were designed and built in house. Forms were blown with the help of industrial glassblowing molds.
