Love Lives On is sited on the Campus of Berea College in Berea, Kentucky and is a memorial for both students and faculty. It is fabricated from solid silicon bronze and verde antique marble. Goals

Berea College was the first integrated, co-educational college in the South and has not charged tuition since 1892. Its mission is to serve students with limited resources who are passionate about pursuing their education. Berea College was founded in 1855 by ardent abolitionist John G. Fee and firmly believes that all people are created of "one blood". It is really a close-knit family that functions with high ideals in a very beautiful setting. I was asked to create a memorial for an area of the campus that is a designated "sacred space". The dual mission for this memorial was to provide a lasting remembrance of those lost, while also facilitateing the grieving process for those who are missing their loved ones.
