Overview
I created a large 5 ft by 3 ft arched stained glass window for the second floor of Bistrot Margot.
the theme of the room was lemons and my window became the focal point of the room.
The window is made in the copper foil method and also utilizes glass jewels and Chicago Art Glass.
Goals
The interior designer wanted the window to set the tone of the lemon theme and have it be a beautiful focal point for patrons at the restaurant.
Process
It was serendipitous that I was in Florida during the beginning of the design phase for this project. I was able to do drawings directly from a lemon tree there.
These became a small scale design that was approved by the designer and client.
Then a full scale design was produced and after that was also approved production of the window began.
