Overview
Dr. OE commissioned me for this piece, it is the surrounding walls are faux finished old world Italy with cracks and glazed marbling in the wall .this mural took 29 -12 hour days over a three month period. all hand brushed, with old leafing matt topcoat polyacrylic
Goals
located in his dining room on a bowed wall that is bowing out. The dr wanted the mural to be table high to his dining room table. it was a challenge to make the mural appear to be a perspective going in yet the actual wall was coming towards me.
Process
the collaboration was fairly easy since it was a replica I was intimidated by the piece and was worried about how it would turn out but with each brushstroke, the mural appeared and the dr was happy and I was happy for them
