Overview

Title: Curved Form with Triangle and Space, welded aluminum, powder coated, 12 feet L x 68″ W, 600 Ibs.
Title: Cosmic Variation, welded aluminum, powder coatedwhite, 7 feet diameter, 300 lbs.

Goals

My challenge was to create a work of art for this particular site. My first consideration was to create a piece that was exciting and inspiring. I needed to consider scale, building use, the natural light, budget, size of door opening to bring piece into building, weight, brackets (one welded to steel I beam behind drywall, one bracket welded to sculpture then joined when installed.
