Overview

The JAL parade banner was commissioned by Jake and Al Fruchnicht. They wanted an old guild type banner for their Mardi Gras marching club. This was painted on both sides. I made all of it by hand.

Goals

The artwork represents people of Italian and Irish heritage in the greater New Orleans area.

Process

I presented Jake with a sketch and once approved, I set about making the banner.
