Overview

This archway is a welcoming beacon to the Beast Urban Park, El Paso’s largest park, which hosts a water park, recreation center, natatorium and aquatic center, senior center, and more. The archway is created of stainless steel in size 60’x28’ and features shapes inspired by native grasses and plants and the pictographs found at Hueco Tanks State Park & Historic site which is located a few miles away from the Park. Visitors must pass through the archway as they enter the park which boasts the Parks name and is illuminated at night.

Goals

As you enter the park and go through the archway, we hope to create a sense of wonder and joy as you discover new elements within the archway every time you pass through. The archway is commemorative to the area and welcomes visitors to a park like no other in El Paso, TX.
