9’h x 8’w x 5’d. Constructed from aluminum wire.
Tribune Media asked me to create a piece to enhance their new offices. I wanted to emphasize the clean lines and diagonals that appeared in the space.
Because Tribune Media provides the technology called Gracenote that operates iTunes, I suggested a sculpture based on a classical piece of music. We chose Handel's Messiah as it is the #1 downloaded classical composition. Comprised primarily of gold aluminum wire there are also sections of black and bright green wire that represent the reoccurring vocal threads in Handel's music.
