Goals
This piece is the signature artwork greeting visitors at the main entrance to the hospital.
Process
The hospital designer wanted this piece and triptych I did nearby to share a dialogue. He also wanted the artwork to be both elegant and appeal to children.
Fabricated at Derix Glasstudios in vitreous enamels with blown glass elements laminated to the face.
