Overview
Farm to Table Fire Kitchen Living Art – Owners wanted to create art for the interior of their unique dining area. Art to aesthetically enhance the environment and the meals created in their open fire kitchen. Four custom biophilic art panels are created to fit a specific area of the interior. The art includes preserved moss, ferns, tobacco sticks (ode to the history to the area) and copper. Four frames measuring 2 ft by 4 ft x 3 inches with custom live edge frames. Each unique and complimentary to each other, the environment and the ethos of the restaurant.
Goals
To provide unique art in a new restaurant concept, thet represents the natural environment and nature.
Process
A site review was conducted in the contribution process. Finsh and design materials were included in the art to blend and accentuate the beauty of the space.
Additional Information
The art attracted regional attention in dining magazines as well as other social media. It is also recognized in the community as part of the beauty of the restaurant in a new community area of Winston Salem.
