Overview
A commission for Christian Dior featuring holographic underwater projections in Kyoto, Japan and Floor Projections in Shanghai, China.
Goals
The goal was to integrate animals from Dior's 'toile de Jouy' embroidery series into an animated underwater landscape brought to life with projections. Phase 1 was to create an underwater projections for water features at the Roku Hilton hotel in Kyoto. Phase 2 was to create floor projections for Dior's pop-up store in Shanghai China.
Process
We worked with executives from Dior who had seen our previous underwater projections of Mermaids. We created the content based on their brief and advised on the technical projector setup. Local technical teams then took our technical plans in order to set up the projectors.
