Overview

Dancing colors was a photoshoot open to the public as a performance. Centered on the transformative possibilities of color and light, the piece featured dancers Diogo DiLima and Franky Canga interacting with immersive projections. It was created at the Hotel Peter and Paul in New Orleans.

Goals

My goal for this project was to create a space in which the physical and virtual worlds continually overlap and inform one another. As the dancers interacted with this infinitely layered environment, the audience experienced an narrative based on spontaneity and connection.
