Overview
This artwork was designed by a European designer. It is an Atrium sculpture with 10 meters diameter, which went through the 3 decks for one giant cruise ship. Any guests enter the cruise ship, the first thing into their eyes is the Atrium sculpture.
Goals
Each layer was connected by mirror polished stainless steel rod. Total rod number is approx two hundred pieces. And the main body was made by 316L stainless steel. In case of distortion, the Max thickness of the stainless steel panel is 6mm.
Process
Design, model optimization, fabrication, pre-assembly at the factory, packing, shipping, installation on-site.
Additional Information
The first one was made in year of 2016, and installation place is in Venice, Italy. Lots of guests taken photos with this Atrium sculpture, and upload on their Instagram and facebook.
