Overview
The client asked for art to activate a quiet hallway that was visible from the building’s lobby. The vertical black, metal lines in the porcelain wall, posed some limitations but ultimately provided a framework for spacing the composition.
Goals
We wanted the art to draw interest to a far wall from the lobby. Bold color and form were crucial in the integration.
Process
Once the basic design was approved, the client gave me complete control. Images of the work in process were provided over a period of 9 months and the work was installed 10 months after initial request.
