Client: Club Quarters Hotels

Overview

Renovations to one of two meeting rooms at the Chicago Wacker location. Sample concepts and art images were sent via email. Two of the works were watercolor images as the others were oil paintings. Revisions and renditions were reviewed and edited online until project completion.

Goals

Renovations and artwork for the new space tread a fine line with hospitality projects. Often creative projects are essentially illustrations of concepts designed by the client. Remaining "unmarried" to your creations play a big role in collaborative projects like this.

Process

I would say it was 50/50 creative contributions from both client and artist. Allowing the client to "take the wheel" is humbling at times, but the end results of the client being proud and content with the final work is important to me.
