Overview
Artist Monira al Qadiri visualizes an overdimensional drilling-head in her #sculpture. It is coated with a special pearlescent lacquer, a so-called flip-flop-lacquer. “Chimera” is made out of eight millimeters aluminum-panels, which were mostly formed by hand. To bring out the many details of the drilling head, individual sheets were formed, welded and ground by Arnold manufacturing specialists.
