Giant, surreal Bob Marley Mural in Midtown Nashville, TN.

19 x 30 ft. Freehand Spray-paint on brick, exterior mural for a smoke shop.

Goals

The goal was to paint the facade of this head shop in Midtown, Nashville, to create more walk in traffic for the store that was opening up. They wanted a character central to the healing nature of cannabis, consuming the healing herb, so I chose Bob Marley!

Process

The shop owner wanted a character that encompassed the healing nature of cannabis, and create walk in traffic for his shop in the middle of Midtown, Nashville, a very popular area downtown. So, I decided to paint Bob Marley, the biggest legend in cannabis industry.

Not only is this the LARGEST mural in Midtown, Nashville, it is also the FIRST mural of an African American in Midtown, and the FIRST Portrait Mural in Midtown, Nashville.
