Overview
Commission for wall group in custom colors for hospital waiting room. 84″ left to right and 36″ top to bottom.
Goals
Wall art was made to match color samples given for wall, carpet and tile materials. Our work was chosen as appropriate for a hospital environment for its beauty and durability.
Process
Commission was awarded through working relationship with Skyline Art Services of Houston, TX. They specialize in art for Health care buildings. Samples were provided for color work. Pieces were made, photographed and approved. Installed using Hang Your Glass system by Skyline.
Additional Information
The color work is made by fusing multiple colors into a solid cylinder then cutting it into cross sections. Each section is then blown into an open form. Each piece can be rotated in any position which allows for many cohesive compositions.
