Overview
I was accepted into the pre qualified pool of artists for mural projects in San Jose. From this pool six artists (including me) were chosen for this vault image painting in T. J. Martin Jeffrey Fontana Parks in Almaden Valley in San Jose, Ca. Each vault is 52″ high x 91″ wide. The murals were painted with Nova Acrylic paints. The artists were invited to meetings to work out designs.
Goals
The goals were to incorporate images that the T J Martin and Jeffrey Fontana Neighborhood Parks association liked. I included images that were of past events taken place in the parks.
Process
All the artists were required to arrive in the City Hall of San Jose for the first meeting. The second meeting was at the Community Building at T J Martin/ Jeffrey Fontana Neighborhood Parks Association. There the artists displayed their designs and worked out images that were pleasing to everybody.
Additional Information
I truly and deeply enjoyed this project!
