I work thematically and predominantly in unique bronze castings ranging in scale from gallery works to corporate, public and site-specific commissions. I often use the structural form of the sphere as the starting point of my vision, and then cast into bronze organic materials such as branches and leaves to realize this form. All cast materials are indigenous to this region of Pennsylvania.

My client's focus was the integration of the sculpture with his breathtaking garden plantings, a work made of nature, in nature, to be discovered unexpectedly amidst a fairy tale setting of trees and greenery.
Here we can pause to bear witness to the natural cycle of renewal and rest. Leaves will give way to thorns, and thorns will give birth to leaves. We see in nature that being is round, a nest, a seed, an energy concentrated around a center, an image of the microcosms and the macrocosms, the world and individual man, in itself a complete world, providing a place where we can rest and dream.

My portfolio was reviewed and the design selected for casting.
