Overview
The Auras are two sculptures that are part of the Public Art Master Plan for Landscape Sculpture at Moffett Place Corporate Campus in Sunnyvale, CA.
Goals
Commissioned by Jay Paul Company each sculpture is made up of two forms, one within the other. These dual shapes are most visible when backlit by intense sunlight or illuminated by the artist’s programmed light sequences.
Process
The hand bent stainless steel rods form moiré patterns as the viewer moves around each artwork.
