Overview

The Armonk Tree Project was a community project which involved the visitors to the Armonk Outdoor Art Show. The purpose of the project was to engage the community in learning about the profusion of single-use plastic in our lives and the problems of plastic pollution. Visitors brought in single-use plastic bags from their homes, cut them up and glued and stitched them into a tree during live sessions at the Armonk Outdoor Art Show and at the North Castle Public Library.
