Overview
Thanks to CityArts I was chosen to work with a group of high school students to revitalize the school garden at 84th and Amsterdam in New York City. Throughout July and August 2023, we painted a 15 x 40′ mural, designed collaboratively with the students of Urban Assembly for Green Careers. The project also included replacing the covering for the koi pond.
Goals
The goals were to involve and collaborate with young people throughout the process. Also to revitalize the garden through artwork.
