Overview

In November 2019, Indeed, Inc, commissioned Mural Envy to create a brand-compliant abstract mural for the reception area of a new satellite office in Stamford, CT. The theme of the workspace was “Transformers,” and the mural evokes the mechanized angles of Transformer characters while also emphasizing Indeed’s brand colors of blue and orange.

Goals

The goal of the mural was threefold: 1) create an impressive focal point in the office's reception area, 2) introduce the office's unique theme of "Transformers", and 3) represent the brand colors of blue and orange. All of these goals were critical to the mural's success.

Process

Muralist Toni Miraldi visited the office during build-out to get a sense of space and theme. The project manager for Indeed provided general color palette and design direction. Mural Envy submitted concepts, revised following feedback, and arrived at an approved final design after three rounds. The mural was painted over one weekend so as not to interfere with office function.

Additional Information

The completed mural was very well received and office staff and management. The project was very successful.
