Overview
Commissioned by the City of Little Rock, Arkansas in 2021.
This sculpture depicts an aspiring Magician whimsically practicing his tricks for an attentive audience of his dog, mouse, and stuffed bunny. My inspiration in creating Abracadabra is as a reminder that there is a power greater than us all and it is important to look for the “magic” in everything.

Goals
The commissioners were seeking a piece that is family friendly with universal appeal. Something that adds energy to their growing Riverfront Park sculpture garden.
Process
After proposing the design our team, the commissioner did not have any changes so we immediately began the enlargement and casting process. We worked with the commissioner throughout the process of engineering and installing a footing and installing the completed piece.
