Transforming the exterior of West LA Luxury Apartments into a textile of enchanting beauty, the geometric floral mural blooms with a vibrant and rich color scheme. A harmonious blend of vivid hues weaves through intricate geometric patterns, creating a visual symphony that mirrors the luxurious lifestyle within. Nestled within The Residences at West Edge, a mixed-use haven in the heart of West Los Angeles, residents are treated to a resort-style pool, a chef’s table and terrace, a serene yoga deck, and more. This mural not only elevates the aesthetic appeal but also captures the essence of the sophisticated and dynamic living experience offered by this upscale community.

Goals

The objectives of incorporating commissioned artwork into this project were centered on the client's desire to achieve a beautiful and inviting aesthetic. The emphasis was on creating a subjective, visually appealing transformation. Opting for a contemporary floral design intertwined with geometric shapes, I infused the mural with a captivating pop using ultraviolet paints, ensuring that it not only met the client's goal but also integrated seamlessly into the overall design, enhancing the space with a vibrant and inviting atmosphere.

Process

The collaborative communication from the outset was clear and effective among all parties involved. Emphasizing the importance of a beautification piece rather than something political or specific in identity, the directive for a subjective design process provided valuable guidance. Armed with this information, navigating the conceptual phase became straightforward, allowing me to craft a piece that resonated with everyone involved right from the start.
