Overview
3000 square feet of ceramic tile on the exterior façade's on the corner of 2nd Street and Colorado Avenue, adjacent to the the Santa Monica Pier.
Goals
A montage of photographs taken of the historic Santa Monica Pier Ferris Wheel in motion at night, the overall composition alludes to the structure of wheels ... the ferris wheel on the nearby pier and also to the hubcaps of automobiles parked in the facility. The location drove the conceptual approach.
