The mission of Children’s Hospital and Medical Center is to improve the life of every child –through exceptional clinical care, research, education, and advocacy. CHMC is currently building the Hubbard Center for Children, an innovative addition to the campus. We plan to work with artists and teams to commission and curate artwork throughout the building. The CHMC Art Selection Committee is looking for child-friendly art in a wide variety of two-dimensional mediums. The committee anticipates reaching that goal with artwork that is familiar, whimsical and innovative. The work should be a reflection of the talent and stories within the region that the hospital serves. Artists from Nebraska or the surrounding region may receive preference. Submitted artwork can already exist or a proposal a proposal for new work. Suggested budget range: $1500 - $70,000, to include all expenses.
