Wake County seeks to commission professional artists to create site-specific exterior artwork to be placed at 7 Wake County Parks being renovated through Wake County’s Capital Improvement Plan as described below. There will also be additional future public art opportunities in Wake County parks associated with this RFQ beyond the initial 7 projects. It is anticipated that multiple artists will be selected for these services. The selected artists will contract directly with Wake County to successfully complete the full scope of the Project within the projected budgets and schedules. Project Budget: $50,000.00 Per Park (All inclusive- design and construction). This amount is inclusive of all costs associated with this public art project including, but not limited to, artist fees, other consultants’ and subcontractors’ fees, insurance conforming to Wake County standards, engineering, permits, materials, fabrication, transportation, installation.
