  • Brief Description

    Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs through its Art in Public Places Program and Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works with partners Terra, Grass River Property, RSP Architects, and Touzet Studio request qualifications from professional artists and/or artist teams to commission artworks for the Grove Central development at the Coconut Grove Metrorail Station. The selected artist(s) will design unique artwork(s) that will contribute to the identity of this facility and engage employees, residents, visitors and passers-by in unexpected and delightful ways. It is envisioned that artworks will contribute to the overall Underline Masterplan for Public Art and amenities that encourage Miami-Dade residents to get out of their cars to walk, bike, exercise, visit, and gather.
