In November of 2021, the City of Waukesha hosted a Gala to commemorate the City’s 125th anniversary. Funds were raised at the gala with the purpose of commissioning an art piece that commemorates the City of Waukesha and our 125th Anniversary as a City.

The funds to go toward the art piece in addition to other funding sources sets a budget range for the project of $8,800-$10,000. The Public Art Committee, in collaboration with city staff, has identified three possible locations where the art piece could go (see photos under scope of work). These locations were selected because they will be the most visible to the public.
