The Rockland County Art in Public Places Committee (AIPP) seeks an artist/artist team to design and create a site-specific public art project at the County of Rockland Highway Department's new state-of-the-art, $35-million facility currently under construction and slated for completion in the Summer of 2022. The facility is located on a 24-acre site. The commissioned work(s) will be installed in a landscaped courtyard measuring 44’ wide and 41’ deep in front of the Administration Building. The project is open to all professional artists and artist teams, 21 years and older, residing in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. The project budget is $147,500. The Rockland County Art in Public Places Committee (AIPP) will review applications received through this RFQ and select up to five finalists to develop proposals.
