Main Street Morgantown (MSM) seeks professional artists for three mural projects in the downtown and Historic Wharf District in Morgantown. Through a grant from Your Community Foundation, artists selected will receive $3,500 for each mural site. Selected artists will work with MSM, the City of Morgantown, and property owners to create designs for the enhancement and beautification of downtown Morgantown. Only original artwork will be accepted. No political messages hate speech, or commercial imagery is allowed. The Organizational Arts Grant is made possible through a collaborative effort between YCF and The Arts Council of Greater Morgantown, with funding from the City of Morgantown, the Monongalia County Commission, and the Douglas H. Tanner Memorial Fund for the Arts.
