Brief Description

Hillsborough County (County) is interested in receiving submissions from artists demonstrating their ability to provide completely realized three dimensional artwork for the exterior display of a landmark sculpture at the future roadway roundabout at the intersection of Durant Road, Little Road, and Dover Road. This project is focused on acquiring public art that will be permanently displayed at the roundabout. Design Criteria: Artwork designed with a four-sided plinth, with the following words engraved on each face, as follows; Face 1 “A Tribute to Valrico’s Citrus Industry”, Face 2 “Proud Past”, Face 3 “Bright Future”, and Face 4 “Dedicated to our farmers Past, Present, and Future”.
