Brief Description

The Edmonton Arts Council, on behalf of the City of Edmonton, seeks an artist or artist team to respond to a unifying architectural element, called “Common Thread,” within Kinistinaw Park. The artwork may be substantially integrated into, or may enhance, the park elements that follow/are part of the thread. The call is open to substantial design integration and/or new installed elements such as light, sound, materials, transitions from overhead to underfoot, etc. Alternatively, the artwork may contrast or otherwise be in dialogue with the park components.
